Scenics

This gallery contains only the most recent (or most favorite) of my digital works in this category that I have chosen to display, up to a total of 20 images. Items will be rotated beyond that point as newer ones are included. For those interested, items that have been removed can still be viewed in the Scenics Archive.

I've always enjoyed a good scenic image, particularly if it depicts an area that makes me want to be there. I hadn't created many digitally, however. Not many, that is, until I discovered Terragen, which permitted me to automate many of the more tedious or boring elements. Although Terragen imagery is very capable of standing on its own and often does, I missed vegetation and moved on to Vue d'Esprit. I also enjoy using the 3D output as a starting "sketch" on which to build and experiment. Select the thumbnail to view a larger version, with commentary.
